Lyford Cay Club General Rules & Dress Code

Blue jeans, denim jackets and clothing, cargo pants, emblazoned shirts and jackets, and soiled, ragged or torn clothing are not acceptable attire.

Gentlemen are asked to remove hats indoors. Billed, baseball-style hats, or peaked caps, are not acceptable dining and bar attire except at the Beach Stand. Billed hats, or peaked caps, worn backwards are not acceptable Club attire.

Guests are asked to wear discrete bathing attire. Distastefully brief clothing, topless sunbathing and thong bathing suits on ladies, and bikini shorts on gentlemen, are not acceptable.

Shoes are required in all Club buildings and dining venues except around the pool and on the beach.

Persons in violation of the Dress Code will be asked to change attire or leave the respective premises.

Mobile Phone Usage

Mobile telephones, electronic readers, iPads and electronic games may only be used on the Club premises in silent mode, for reading, gaming and silent communication.

Separate from our wedding festivities, please be mindful of phone use in all Club dining facilities. Phone calls are not allowed to be taken in public.
